Exciting news! Both Montgomery ISD high schools are 'A' rated! 🎉
Montgomery High School and Lake Creek High School have both earned an A rating in the 2025-26 Texas Education Agency State Accountability Ratings, marking an exciting milestone for Montgomery ISD.
The District as a whole also continues to see improvement in state accountability, increasing its overall rating for the third consecutive year, from 86 to 87 to 88.
MISD had four 'A' rated campuses in 2025-26:
⭐Montgomery High School
⭐Lake Creek High School
⭐Keenan Elementary School
⭐Stewart Creek Elementary
Creekside Cubs and Montgomery Jr High Bears also achieved notable improvement from the previous year.
In total four MISD campuses earned an A rating, four earned a B rating, and 3 earned a C rating.
“Our mission statement includes the words ‘in partnership with our families and the community,’ and that is a core value for Montgomery ISD,” Superintendent Dr. Mark Ruffin said. “If we do not get that part right, we cannot achieve our mission. Our success belongs to our teachers, our campus leaders, our students, our parents, and our community.”
We are proud of this progress and grateful to everyone who continues to make academic excellence a shared priority. We will celebrate this achievement while continuing the work to ensure every Montgomery ISD student receives a premier education, empowering them to reach their full potential, prepared for future success.
