As a campus, NSE collected nearly 3,000 items, helping bless many families this season. We are so proud of our students and families for their generosity and for coming together to serve our community. 💙

Our very own Deputy Jones checks our doors every single day to keep our campus safe and secure—so who better to be the ultimate judge of our Door Decorating Contest?! He brought his A-game and sharp eye for detail to help us choose the top three fabulous door creations! 🎨Drumroll, please... check out the Top 3 Doors that wowed our safety star and brought major school spirit! 👏🏆

Snow Shop Volunteers Spirit Store will be spread over 3 days for EXTRA holiday shopping! Students will be shopping during their recess time OR if a parent is present during their lunch time. 1. Check in with Sandra at the front office. 2. Snow Shop will be setup in the Momentum Room (hallway between Kinder & 1st Grade).

Mrs. Huffman’s students explored material properties and put their building skills to the test by creating turkey traps inspired by “How to Catch a Turkey!” They had a blast designing traps to catch their turkeys and took them home for Thanksgiving break! 🙌💡🦃

🦃 Thanksgiving Fun at NSE! 🦃

What a week last week was! From the Turkey Trot to the 2nd Annual Turkey Bowl, and even The Great NSE Turkey Heist! We had a blast celebrating with our hard working staff and students leading up to Thanksgiving break. 🏃🏼‍♀️🎳🦃

We are grateful for everyone who makes NSE a great place to be. Thank you for walking the halls with us and making memories along the way.💛

Our top PTO Bubble Run earners enjoyed an amazing reward day! Serving as Principal, Teacher, and SRO for the day, plus time in the game truck 🕹️ and a spa experience 💅🏻! Thank you to all of our families and community members for supporting our Fall Fundraiser!

What a powerful season it’s been for our Girls on the Run team! Our 3rd and 4th grade girls grew together as friends while building confidence, strength, and healthy habits.

To wrap up the season, our GOTR girls put kindness into action by creating dog toys from recycled T-shirts and donating them to CAMO Rescue. The team celebrated all their hard work at Rice University, joining other Houston-area teams for the GOTR 5K.
