Team Crude

Team Crude is a group of UH senior design students. The objective is to create an educational version of a miniature Crude Oil Distillation apparatus.

Our objective is to design and manufacture an energy efficient processing unit for fractional distillation of synthetic crude oil. Our design will have the dimensions of 2’8”x 5’ x 8’. The stages that will be produced are gasoline, intermediate distillates, and heavy distillates. The goal product will then be analyzed to its equivalent standard, found in the real world.
