Magnolia ISD teachers spent the day learning from the people who know our classrooms best, each other. 🍎

🌟Today’s Momentum Magnolia conference brought together approximately 250 educators for a full day of professional learning designed by Magnolia ISD teachers, for Magnolia ISD teachers. From literacy and math strategies to classroom management, engagement, technology, and AI, every session was created and led by our own educators sharing real-world ideas and strategies that are already making an impact in classrooms across the district.

Momentum Magnolia continues to highlight the incredible talent, collaboration, and innovation within MISD while investing in meaningful learning experiences that ultimately benefit our students. We are proud of the educators who make this event such a success each year! 👏👏👏

🎉𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭!📚
All ages are invited to join in the fun June 1st through July 25th at your 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 libraries by participating in special events and a reading challenge with incentives. Prizes are available to those who reach their goal by the end of the Program.

This year’s theme is 𝙐𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮™ and will include free shows with performers including magicians and puppeteers, arts and crafts, movies and games, and more exciting events! Events are free and open to the public. If any individual requires an accommodation to participate in the library events, programs, or classes, please contact the host library at least 3 days before the program/event.

Join us for the annual Reading Jubilee on Friday, May 29. This fun, family-friendly event is FREE and designed to kick off summer reading!

Students can enjoy games, check out first responder vehicles, visit with storybook characters, community booths, and even take home free books as we celebrate the joy of reading and help build strong literacy skills over the summer.
