Our Child Development students got a hands-on look at the mechanics of birth using the Balloon and Ping Pong Ball Lab. By simulating labor contractions, students were able to visualize how the body prepares for delivery. It was an eye-opening (and occasionally loud!) lesson on the incredible power of the human body.
