New course offering at TWU Denton!
Do you know an incoming first-year undergraduate student who is exploring healthcare careers? We would love for them to enroll in UNIV 1233, taught by our very own faculty member, Dr. Jordan Davis.
This course combines the knowledge and skills needed to excel in college while exploring healthcare careers such as physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Congratulations to Dr. Lindsay Perry on graduating yesterday and earning her PhD in Physical Therapy! Such an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Her dissertation chair was Dr. Katy Mitchell.
Wishing Dr. Perry continued success in all that comes next!
PS…Her daughter seemed pretty thrilled too!

Lauren Szot (associate Clinical Professor) organized an amazing TPTA Student Night for our Houston students.
Fellow faculty, Rupal Patel, Luciano Garcia, Paula Wilson and Interim Associate Director, Christina Bickley joined in their support of our DPT students.
It was a weeknight (and a rainy one!) but a great time was had by all! Students were able to connect with faculty and community partners & supporters alike!

Another successful IPE Lab! Our DPT program partnered with the UT Southwestern Medical School Prosthetics and Orthotics Program for an incredible hands-on learning experience. Eight amputee models joined us to help students practice evaluation and treatment skills related to amputee rehabilitation. Grateful for this collaboration and the meaningful learning it provides!
