Thanks to , our scholars dove into a thrilling VR Space Escape Room where they cracked codes, navigated galaxies, and worked as a team to beat the clock, all while learning the science behind virtual reality!

Big shoutout to Bud Kula for breaking down how VR works, sharing gameplay safety tips, and sparking curiosity about future careers in immersive tech!

We ended the day with a surprise call with our Board Member, Tracey Baker Simmons p.g.a.! We congratulated her on the new Peacock show starring Ashanti and Nelly.

What a Juneteenth to remember!

From art exhibitions and historical reenactments to chemistry experiments and robotics workshops, Be Ingenious celebration brought history, innovation, and community together!

Liberation through Education was the theme of our and STEAM family activation at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum celebrating the 160th Anniversary of Juneteenth.
Special thanks to veteran and planetary geologist Lunar and Planetary Institute for sharing his story and visiting his father Bruce Brown’s painting displayed in the museum, to our Head of Academics leading the charge, and to all our Black- and veteran-owned vendors who brought the marketplace to life.

We also hosted a special robotics session with BLD PWR at Ion Houston led by Jonah Phillips from Persona AI Inc giving families a hands-on experience with tech that’s shaping the future.
