That’s a wrap for Team United for Christ Bible Club at Dickinson High School. We ended the year strong, I ministered on Being Anchored on Hope and gave them a summer challenge, How To Stay Strong For God.
We honored our Bible Club sponsors, Chief Frank and Captain Metz. They have been our teacher sponsors for many years. They have been faithful and have kindly let us use their classroom for Bible Study. They are both retiring and we will miss them.
We also honored our UFC Seniors with purple graduation cords. We had 27 seniors graduating. It is an honor to share the gospel with students and teachers.
In Matthew 28 it says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Stay strong for Jesus students!

It’s important that we glorify God together and Seek Him. We prayed for our leaders, schools, government, families, businesses and the arts and entertainment. We prayed for God to touch our Nation.

I am grateful for students that love Jesus and want to share their testimony. At our DHS Bible Club, we focused on Missions in the month of March and April. Students learned about the Roman’s Road and how to share their testimony with others. It’s simple, “Before Jesus, after Jesus.”
We had a special guest, Miles, to help us at the DHS Bible Club. Miles brought a whole pocket full of little Jesus figures and gave them to the students. Students shared their testimonies and were blessed to receive a little Jesus Figure. It was a God day!

At our DHS Team United for Christ Bible Club we’ve been sharing about the different types of soil in the Parable of the Sower. The different soils represent our hearts.
Last week, we shared about Rocky Soil and how sin can keep the seed of the word of God from growing and having deep roots. To demonstrate this, I brought dissolvable paper and water in a container.
One one side of the paper was the word FORGIVEN. Students then wrote the things they had struggled with on the back of that paper. As the paper was placed in the water, it dissolved along with their struggles. One by one students placed their sins in the water. At the end I would ask them, can you see the sin you wrote? They said, “no.” By the end of the lesson, no one could see the sins and struggles of the class in the container. I am no scientist, but it’s a powerful way to talk about God’s forgiveness.
1 John 1:9 ways, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
One student came up at the end and asked, “what if God can’t forgive my sin?” I told her God sees sin as sin and Jesus paid the ultimate price for it. It seemed like the weight was lifted off her shoulders and she put her paper in the water, it dissolved just like all the others.
The Power of Forgiveness, stems from the Love of God. ❤️

We kicked off our February Bulletin Board at Dickinson High School with God’s Heart Conversation Hearts. It’s important for students, teachers and the staff to know God’s thoughts towards them. ❤️
