We are a vibrant community of homeschooling families who practice kind relationships with our children and each other while engaging in holistic education in a non-conforming and unconventional setting.

On Navigating Conflict: noticing, examining & exploring.

Registration for youth, 18-25, is $5.

For young adults & adults interested in gaining skills to navigate conflict arising in relationships, Houston NVC has an upcoming online training with Aya Caspi. Virtual Zoom Classroom; a recording of each class will be sent to participants. October 1, 8, 22, 29 (4 Tuesdays) 6:30pm to 8:30pm CT

Transforming Conflict at Home and Beyond with Nonviolent Communication

Our Fall semester starts on Monday, September 9.

We have a social mixer today and another one Thursday this week. If you're interested in our Program, please see the website and complete the Application of Interest.

We're a fee-based, 2 or 3-day co-learning program well suited for homeschooling families with youths aged 9-17 who want to supplement their lifestyle with peer connection, interest-based learning, and explore emotional growth in a kind setting.

HGEC is in Central Houston, 77004, a drop-off, fee-based, 3-day week, collaborative learning community. Our pedagogy revolves around self-determined engagement in a learning community.

We're having an open house for interested families on Thursday, August 29, from 9:30-11:30. We will also gather for bowling on 9/3 and a trampoline park on 9/5 before starting the semester on 9/9/24.

Please complete the Application of Interest at the bottom of the Welcome Page of the website and/or reach out through the "Connect" page, so we may set up a call to cover the basic fit and the open-house location address. It is a private residence and therefore not advertised.
