My friend, what does it cost to stay the same?
Not in money. Not in energy.
But in aliveness. In vibrancy. In the quiet sense of fulfillment that comes from actually feeling like the director of your own life.
Most of us already know what we need to do next.
But there is a part of us that waits.
Waits for more clarity. Waits for more time. Waits for the fear to subside before taking the next step.
And while we wait, life keeps asking the same question.
Are you ready to remember who you are?
Not choosing is still a choice. And it is often the most expensive one. It costs vitality, relationships, purpose and the freedom to fully create the life you are here to live.
You are not broken. You never were.
This is simply about remembering the truth of your own power.
If not now, when?
If not you, who?
You have already done the hard part. You are waking up to the call.
Now it is time to answer. 🀍

Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there.
Rumi pointed to something that yoga has always known.
There is a layer of reality beyond the labels. Beyond what we were taught to call things. Beyond the names, the definitions, the forms we have learned to mistake for the whole of what is real.
When we see only the surface of things, we see only form. The person as we have defined them. The situation as we have labeled it. The world as we were taught to understand it.
And that seeing is so limiting.
Not because the world isn't real, but because form is only one layer of it. Beneath every named thing is a function. Beneath every label is an underlying intelligence. Beneath every surface is something that makes it tick.
When we develop the capacity to see beyond form into function, something shifts.
Our responses become more efficient, more organic, more true. Our prana stops being wasted on reaction and misperception. We begin to move through even the most complex ethical dilemmas not from conditioned reflex but from genuine discernment.
This is not about transcending the world.
It is about seeing it more clearly than we ever have before.
Out beyond right and wrong, beyond the labels and the forms, there is a field.
The practice is learning to live from there. 🀍

These are not powers you manufacture through effort and striving.
They are the natural fruits of a rising current met with sadhana and discernment.
As Prana Shakti stabilizes within a regulated nervous system and a focused mind, five distinct capacities begin to arise spontaneously.
Iccha Shakti. The power of spontaneous will. A clear knowing of what you want and what you are already aligned with. No forcing. No second guessing.
Jnana Shakti. The power of spontaneous knowing. Intuitive clarity arising without the labor of analysis.
Kriya Shakti. The power of action. Acting on what you know cleanly and without hesitation. Because knowing without acting leaves power dormant.
Sankalpa Shakti. The power of sustained intention. Following through on what you said you would do across days and across difficulty.
Ananda Shakti. The power of pure bliss. Not bliss that depends on circumstances, but bliss that is the very nature of consciousness herself, available even amid difficulty.
And as all five mature together, something even more extraordinary emerges.
The ability to hold multiple perspectives simultaneously and rise above them all. Not indecision. But the direct perception of a much vaster truth.
This is viveka khyati. Discernment maturing into wisdom.
This is what practice was always building toward. 🀍

This is not metaphor.
As sadhana deepens and practice becomes consistent and uninterrupted, something real begins to shift at the base of the body. In the pelvic bowl. Where the first three chakras reside.
Heat. Vibration. Tingling. Emotional surges. A sense of something rising along the spine.
This is Kundalini Shakti beginning to stir. And it is not always comfortable.
At Muladhara, the root chakra, the most foundational question on the entire path arises:
Am I safe to be here? Do I live in a perception of safety in this body, on this earth?
When Kundalini stirs at the root, two things can happen. A deepening sense of groundedness. Or old fears around survival rising to be met. The pull back toward familiar klesha patterns. The desire to retreat into what is known.
Both are the awakening doing its work.
Because this is where it gets most challenging and most important.
This is precisely where power dissipates rather than builds. Where egoic identities come back online. Where the temptation to chase sensation, seek bigger openings, or push for faster results becomes its greatest.
And the teaching here is simple and demanding in equal measure.
To sustain an awakening current, return to the fundamentals of sadhana with even greater devotion than before. Not less.
A regulated nervous system is the container.
Kundalini is the fire.
And the container must be able to hold the fire.
Without that foundation, the current cannot rise. With it, everything becomes possible. 🀍

Dissolution rarely happens all at once.
Some dimensions of the old self dissolve beautifully. Others stay stuck, still waiting in the chrysalis to be seen and fully accepted.
Someone opens their heart magnificently in spiritual practice but still lives a life disconnected from their actual purpose. Someone touches genuine transcendence in sadhana and then steps off their cushion into a life still organized around everything they are trying to leave behind.
This is not failure. This is the uneven, unpredictable, utterly human process of growing up.
The four purusharthas show us all four dimensions of meaning simultaneously, so we can see clearly which layers have been offered to the fire and which are still waiting.
Four honest questions to sit with right now:
In artha, where does scarcity still organize my relationship with the material world?
In k**a, where does conditional love still organize my relationships?
In dharma, where does performing purpose rather than living it still organize my time?
In moksha, where does seeking still organize even my spiritual practice?
Each answer is something still in the chrysalis. Waiting not for more effort, but for the light of your awareness.
That light is already within you. 🀍

Underneath all other questions, there is one question.
What have I actually been living for?
Viktor Frankl survived years in the most devastating conditions a human being can endure and came out with a teaching so clear it can stop you mid-breath.
Meaning triumphs over happiness.
A person can survive almost anything when they know why they are surviving. The deepest human longing is not for comfort or pleasure. It is for a life that matters.
And here is what I have come to understand:
The matrix is not only made of fear and conditioning. It is also made of a life lived without genuine meaning fully inhabited.
In Sanskrit the four pillars of a meaningful life are called the purusharthas. And they belong right at the heart of this work.
Because as the old self dissolves, as the caterpillar liquefies inside the chrysalis, one essential question must be asked.
What do I bring with me into the new form?
And what do I leave behind?
A life free from old patterns still needs something worth becoming free for. 🀍

One light can illuminate an entire football field.
Just one.
And yet most of us are still asking permission to shine.
Here is a question worth sitting with:
What if you were born to bring heaven to earth? What if raising the vibrational frequency of humanity is not someone else's job, but yours? What if the archetype of the hero, that frequency of courage and purpose and aliveness, is not a story about someone else but the very blueprint running through your own heartbeat?
Your worldview shapes everything.
Not just how you see the world, but who you draw into it. What you create within it. How you feel moving through it each day.
When you hold the perspective that the world is a friendly, beautiful place with a higher purpose woven through it, something shifts. The mythical journey becomes your journey. The hero's path becomes your path.
Not because life becomes easy.
But because you finally understand what you are here to do with all of it.
You were not born to conquer the world.
You were born to illuminate it.
And one light, your light, is more than enough to begin. 🀍

Dear universe. I am ready for the undoing.
Ready for the undoing of every perceived block, every knot, every pattern of karma that has kept me circling the same ground.
I open myself fully and completely.
All that is mine by divine right reaches me now. Under grace. Under a total state of flow.
This is not wishful thinking. This is not spiritual bypassing. This is the disciplined practice of consciously shifting your inner state, of remembering who you are when Triggerland is doing its best to convince you otherwise.
Because here is what I know:
No matter what is happening around me, I have a job to do. My presence matters. My value is real. And I need to get after it.
From that grounded knowing, alignment becomes possible.
The release of lower frequencies. The opening to what is already yours. The shift from contraction to flow.
And then, from that place, appreciation.
Not gratitude as a performance. But appreciation as a genuine recognition of worth. Because when we appreciate, we increase our own perception of value. And when we increase our perception of value, the field responds in kind.
This is the practice of alignment.
Discipline as devotion. Surrender as strength. Appreciation as alchemy. 🀍

When Kundalini first stirs at the root, it doesn't always feel like awakening.
Sometimes it feels like things falling apart.
Old fears around survival rising to the surface. The pull back toward familiar patterns. The kleshas coloring consciousness with their old familiar hue.
This is not a sign that something has gone wrong.
This is the awakening doing exactly what it came to do.
The upgrade rarely announces itself as an upgrade in the moment. It often feels like discomfort, like disruption, like the ground shifting beneath you. And Ayurveda yoga understood this thousands of years before modern somatic psychology arrived at the same conclusion.
The nervous system's sense of safety is a prerequisite for any higher awakening.
You cannot build the higher floors without first stabilizing the foundation.
The first three chakras govern our relationship to survival, sensation and personal will. This is the territory of the caterpillar. The third dimensional world of separate things acting upon other separate things.
But as consistent sadhana enlivens this foundation, something begins to shift.
The veils of Maya begin to thin.
Perception becomes more sensitive, more alive, more real than it has ever felt before.
And then at the heart, something extraordinary happens.
We cross into the fourth dimension. The territory of vision, relationship intelligence, resonance and union. Where Kundalini Shakti begins its transformation into Prana Shakti.
From survival to sensation to will to love.
From caterpillar to something entirely new.
The beginning of vision. 🀍

Dissolution is not the end of the story.
It never was.
The dark, formless space between what we were and what we are becoming is not emptiness. It is preparation. It is the womb of what comes next.
In that space the old identity softens. Old forms release. And quietly, beneath the surface, the imaginal cells of our true nature begin their construction.
Just like the butterfly inside the chrysalis.
Not yet ready to emerge. But no longer merely resting.
Something begins to stir. To push. To ask for more space.
This is Kundalini Shakti, the coiled serpent, a dormant power that begins to enliven as sadhana matures. As practice deepens. As commitment becomes consistent and uninterrupted.
And this is where we start to grow up.
Not just spiritually. In our full humanity.
Because we cannot develop these inner superpowers without genuine maturation in our own being. The awakening is real and embodied. Heat. Vibration. Tingling. Emotional surges. A sense of something rising along the spine.
This is not metaphor.
This is true awareness becoming felt experience.
It is not always comfortable. Seeing what needs to be released rarely is. But the pressing from within, that is the awakening doing exactly what it is meant to do.
The chrysalis was never a prison.
It was always the making of wings. 🀍
✨ If this teaching is calling something awake in you, this is exactly the kind of exploration we go into inside Beyond the Mat, our new container for those ready to take the practice deeper.
