🪐 Our little explorers took a walk through the galaxy today!✨
Using movement, play, and hands-on discovery, students carried planets through our “solar system walk” and explored the size and distance of each planet in a fun, meaningful way. From tiny planets to giant ones bigger than they were, their excitement, curiosity, and wonder filled the day! 🌎☀️💫

Here’s a little peek into our day… Happy Cinco de Mayo! 🇲🇽
We celebrated by learning about the Mexican flag, talking about its colors, and comparing it to the American flag.
We also got creative by making handprint maracas!
Ms. Angie brought in delicious treats for us to try—conchas and buñuelos! Conchas are sweet bread, and buñuelos are crispy fried tortillas with cinnamon and sugar… super yummy!
It was a day full of learning, culture, and fun!

🦓💧 Zebra Class Fun!
Our little Zebras had a spin-tastic time during circle time! Ms. Charlotte created mini “tornadoes” to show how water can move and spin—little eyes were wide with curiosity! 🌪️
We also explored water together, talking about how it can be clear or sometimes look blue. So much learning through play and discovery! 💙✨

🦋 Leap Frogs Are Taking Flight! 🐦
Our Leap Frogs are exploring a fun bird unit this week! Today, Ms. Angie brought her parakeets, and the children loved observing them up close. 👀🐦
We learned about parakeets, parrots, and cockatiels, read “Petie’s First Flight” and “Owl Babies” 📚, and even went on a little bird watching walk/run! 🏃‍♂️
Mr. Billy also shared different bird feathers 🪶—some colorful, some simple—and the kids loved exploring them!
Such a sweet day of hands-on learning and discovery 💜✨
