Here's the link to our "Around the World in New Bern" film, which premiered on Saturday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJYSpWzFOjo
We made this film in conjunction with the Interfaith Refugee Ministry - New Bern to showcase New Bern, North Carolina, where our Foundation is based. In the film, students of different cultural backgrounds show each other places that are important to them, all in an attempt to show that it is possible to "see the world" even in a small town.
"Around the World in New Bern" is our fourth "Around the World" film, following previous efforts in Raleigh, Seattle, and Milwaukee.
Thanks to filmmakers Phillip Wilson and Channing Wilson for their work on the project, as well as to the Liberal Arts & University Transfer Center of Craven Community College for co-hosting the premiere. We hope you enjoy the film!

If you're in New Bern, North Carolina, this weekend, we hope you'll be able to join us this Saturday at 3pm at the premiere of "Around the World in New Bern," our collaboration with the Interfaith Refugee Ministry. This will be our fourth "around the world" film, following our films in Raleigh, Seattle, and Milwaukee. We're excited to announce that our fourth "Around the World" film -- "Around the World in New Bern" -- will premiere on Saturday, May 14. It has been a wonderful experience to put together a film in the town where our Foundation is based, and we're excited for it to be shown to a large audience.
The premiere is being organized by our local partners, the Interfaith Refugee Ministry - New Bern, in conjunction with the Liberal Arts and University Transfer Center at Craven Community College. It will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 14 in the Naumann Community Room on Craven Community College's campus. The program will consist of a screening of our film, followed by a panel discussion. Admission is free, so we hope to see a large audience to support our participating students.
This film poses the question, "Can you go 'around the world' without leaving New Bern, North Carolina?" Following our previous films set in Raleigh, Seattle, and Milwaukee, this film is the fourth in our "Around the World" series -- and our first to be set in a small town. Come see New Bern through the eyes of five students of different cultural backgrounds!
