The Miracle of Offida

In 1273, a consecrated Host in Offida, Italy was desecrated and thrown into a fire. Instead of burning, the Host visibly transformed into flesh and blood. The relics remain preserved today as a reminder of Christ’s true presence in the Eucharist.

Fatima, Portugal — The Angel of Peace

Before the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, the three shepherd children were visited by the Angel of Peace in 1916. The angel appeared, holding a Host and Chalice suspended in the air, teaching the children prayers of reparation and Eucharistic devotion. The angel gave Holy Communion to the children and prepared them for Mary’s message of prayer, sacrifice, and conversion.

Today we celebrate the greatest of all mysteries, one God in three Persons: 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭.

St. Augustine once shared, our minds can’t fully comprehend the Trinity any more than a bucket can hold the entire ocean. Yet, we still seek a deeper understanding and lasting connection to The Most Holy Trinity.

Through the Bible God slowly revealed himself, first as Father, then as Son and then as Holy Spirit. The Church teaches that the Holy Spirit is the love between the Father and the Son.

The Miracle of Bolsena

In 1263, a priest doubting the Real Presence celebrated Mass in Bolsena, Italy. During the consecration, blood flowed from the Host onto the corporal cloth. This miracle inspired Pope Urban IV to establish the Feast of Corpus Christi for the entire Church.

The Miracle of Lanciano

In the 8th century, a priest in Lanciano, Italy struggled to believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. During Mass, the Host visibly became flesh and the wine became blood. Scientific studies centuries later confirmed the flesh was human heart tissue and the blood was human blood type AB.
