Our class library is ready for students to start checking out books to read during our station time! Excited to introduce our new book bags and books next week.

Building up our vocabulary by playing a fun word guessing game. The students wrote a sentence using one of our vocabulary words and their partner had to guess the word to complete the sentence.

Our fundraiser is officially off and running!

We have already raised $3,320 (online) towards our $10,000 goal!

This week our class is learning about voting. The kids have paper ballots and we’ve been voting for our favorite foods. Today French Fries won the popular vote over Onion Rings.

We are working on writing in response to books that we read. This week we read informational texts and the kids’ favorite book was about rocks. I love seeing them working in quiet spots around our classroom.
