Fourth grade Gifted and Talented students from Dickinson ISD participated in their final Investigators mini college course at University of Houston-Clear Lake. The culminating Showcase provided students the opportunity to proudly present their spring semester projects to their families and celebrate their learning.
Throughout the year, students engaged in ten college-level mini-courses, gaining valuable academic experiences and exposure to advanced content. The Investigators Program is part of an ongoing partnership between Dickinson ISD Advanced Academics and the University of HoustonβClear Lake Center for Educational Programs, designed to enrich and extend learning opportunities for our students.

**Important update: K.E. Little Elementary without power**
At this time, the campus is currently without power. Service providers are on their way and working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
Lunch has already been served, and all students remain safe inside their classrooms.
Dismissal will continue as scheduled. However, if you would like to pick up your child early, you may do so by bringing a valid photo ID. Please note that due to the power outage, the checkout process may take longer than usual.
We do not have an estimated time for when power will be restored, but we will keep you updated with any new information.
Thank you for your understanding.
