🍎 Back-to-school meal information!

As your family prepares for the 2026–2027 school year, here are a few important reminders from Dickinson ISD Food and Nutrition.

🥞 Breakfast will be free for all students.

🍽️ Lunch prices are:

• Elementary/Middle Schools (PK–5): $2.50
• Junior High Schools (6–8): $2.85
• High School (9–12): $3.15

Families are encouraged to apply for free or reduced-price school meals. One application can also help determine eligibility for other educational benefits and discounted services.

💳 Families can add money to student meal accounts through PaySchools Central at PaySchoolsCentral.com or through the mobile app. Please note that PaySchools Central is for meal payments only and does not process meal-benefit applications.

📣 Attention Dickinson ISD athletics and fine arts families

The UIL has added a new mandatory PAPF Eligibility form to Rank One for the 2026-2027 school year.

If you completed your Rank One forms before July 1, you’ll need to log back in and complete this one additional electronic form. Until it is completed, your student may remain ineligible for participation.

If you’re still completing your Rank One forms, no extra steps are needed. The UIL PAPF Eligibility form will automatically appear first in your list of electronic documents.

✅ To complete the form:
• Log in to your Rank One account.
• Select Student Forms.
• Open UIL PAPF Eligibility.
• Answer the required question(s).
• Review and submit the UIL Certification Statement.

Please complete this required form as soon as possible to help ensure your student is ready for participation in athletics or fine arts during the 2026-2027 school year.

Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Beginning July 21, complete the online enrollment paperwork in Skyward.

Step 2: Attend our Centralized Enrollment Event to complete the enrollment process.

We're about a month away from the start of the 2026–2027 school year, so here's what you need to know! 🐊📚

🕒 School start and dismissal times for each grade level are listed in the attached graphic.

📅 Transition Day – Wednesday, August 12
To help students adjust to a new campus, the following students will attend school one day early:

• Pre-K
• Kindergarten
• 4th grade at Dunbar and Barber Middle School
• 6th grade at all junior high campuses
• 9th grade at Dickinson High School

Transition Day gives these students an opportunity to become familiar with their campus, meet teachers, and learn daily routines before the rest of the student body arrives.

🚌 Buses will run their normal routes, and 🍎 breakfast and lunch will be served. Additional details will be shared by each campus in August.

📅 Thursday, August 13 is the first day of school for ALL Dickinson ISD students.
