Writing this book series was a deeply personal journey for me. As an Indian child growing up in England, I often felt like the stories I enjoyed reading didnโt quite reflect my world. I wanted to change that for the next generation. My hope is that every child who picks up these pages sees a bit of their own story and feels truly seen and valued. Creating spaces where every child can find themselves in literature has become a mission close to my heart..
Through these books, I hope for children to foster an acceptance of their authentic selves, inclusive of differences in practicing religion (and within Hinduism), and inclusive of the diverse and incredible communities that many of us live in.
Please feel free to share this post to whoever may be interested.

Night shift delirium 1.5 weeks in brings many questions! Will the hospital stop smelling like ๐ฅ?? Will I actually be able to focus on this excel sheet ๐๏ธ behind me? Are my pupils asymmetric ๐๐๏ธ?!!? I miss living in the real daytime world ๐!
I'm still around, guys! Been super busy these last many months! Lots of projects, family time, learning to be a good Chief Resident, & the stressors of the hospital!
PS: Not accepting any clients currently for the above reasons!

Whale watching was one of the most moving experiences of my life so far. These animals are so beautiful and majestic! We saw so many whales breaching, such an incredible sight. It brought tears to my eyes.
I got some amazing GoPro footage of whales smack under a double rainbow, if I ever get around to it I'll share it!

As you all can tell, I LOVE nature. I have also been afraid of heights for as long as I can remember. It took a lot of courage for me to do this ziplining that took us at speeds over 50mph and at one point the height of the Space Needle (600 feet!!), but it was well worth it for the views of this beautiful planet.
I won't say I've overcome this fearโits become pretty inbuilt over the years. I look over a flight of stairs and it looks like an abyss much lower. BUT it's still a step. And if I can keep taking more steps in this regard and others? I'll be plenty proud of myself.
So here's to facing more fears of mine this year, because God knows I have tonnes floating around in this head of mine.
