Definitive Faux Finishing Studio & School
Faux Finishing School & Supplierdefinitivefaux.com The school subscribes to its 3 p's maxim: Professional finishes, Production Methods for Profitability.
Our school, established in 1982 is the oldest most establish school in the southwest with continuous consecutive courses being offered. The school emphasizes those finishes which are most saleable and financially lucrative; teaching most of the finishes or techniques presently available. Our experienced resident teaching staff unlike schools with "Guest Artists" provides constant after-class support.
Definitive has moved next door into Unit A-5 from A-6 at 3511 Pinemont for more space and a great layout. Larger classroom, a showroom, a showroom-office, restaurant stainless sinks for clean-up, and a large warehouse for doing production work. Phone and all information remains the same. We will post pictures when the move is complete.
Our website will soon list the classes and class dates for 2013.
Successful has been "Select a Finish" session where the student selects a finish in a 3 to 4 hour class. We invite up to 5 other students join in. The finish may one we already teach, have in our showroom or will create from a picture in a magazine. These session are $75 plus material costs. Send us your email address at [email protected] to be notified of these sessions.
Definitive is moving...moving next door. We will be in the unit A-5 next door beginning January 1 with more room and a great layout. We will still only take 6 students per class to provide close attention and supervision to each student.
Past students are encouraged to post their photos of work using the products we sell and tell about their work.
