My only child, Paul D. Glenn II, is graduating from McGill University on June 2nd, 2023. I will be the proud parent sitting on the McGill University commencement platform as a guest professor.
Time flies! Not many people know this, but Paul was born during my second year of graduate school and went everywhere with me on the Rice University campus. I graduated at the top of my class when he was only four years old. After the graduation ceremony, Paul went around for months telling everyone that he had graduated from Rice University (because he thought he had).
The next thing I knew, my son was graduating from Rainard School for the Gifted. Now, he is going to walk across the stage at the MacDonald campus at 2:30 pm in two short weeks with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with a major in Honors Life Sciences and a concentration in Microbiology and Molecular Biotechnology.
