Our Fisher Tigers had the best surprise in gym today — our first responders stayed after our First Responders Breakfast to PLAY with our 2nd graders!

What a night at Fisher! Our Grandparents Lotería Night brought so much joy as grandkids and grandparents played together, enjoyed yummy nachos and drinks, snapped sweet photo ops, and won fun prizes — from small plants and terrarium kits to Chick‑fil‑A gift cards, Children’s Museum tickets, and even a 4‑pack of Astros game tickets. A beautiful evening of family, laughter, and community.

Nuestra Noche de Lotería con los Abuelitos estuvo llena de alegría mientras los nietos y abuelos jugaban juntos, disfrutaban de deliciosos nachos y bebidas, tomaban fotos muy lindas y se llevaban premios increíbles — desde pequeñas plantas y kits de terrarios para niños hasta tarjetas de regalo de Chick‑fil‑A, boletos para el Children’s Museum y el gran premio: un paquete de 4 boletos para el próximo juego de los Astros. We're making attendance fun this year with special themed dress-up days!

🎉 Our first theme day is El Chavo del Ocho Day on Tuesday, September 8th. Students are invited to dress as their favorite character and join the fun.

⭐ Plus, students who attend school every day from September 8th-11th will be entered into a drawing to win one of TWO Family 4-Packs of Houston Astros tickets for the September 17th game!

Our Special Education Programs would like to thank the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation, cre8 Architects, and Pasadena Lions Club for supporting the latest additions and materials for our Fisher Tigers’ Calming Den—a fun, welcoming space where our students can explore, play, and build the skills they need to regulate and feel their best. 💙🐯

Fisher Elementary is extremely grateful to the Harris County Department of Education and Pasadena ISD Education Foundation for their support in making our PK3 Kinesthetic Learning Labs in PISD a reality! We will make sure our students put it to great use incorporating movement and fun into learning!

Thank you to the Harris County Department of Education for their generous donation! These funds will provide our Pre-K 3 students with the tools needed to learn through whole-body movement, creating engaging experiences that support lifelong learning and development.
