Had an opportunity to share MBC with my teammate visiting this weekend from Louisiana. We focused on the Master Tech Speed Stops vs angle 1, 3 and 5.

MBC session this weekend, started with some Damithurt Silat Itsy bitsy to a cw or ccw lock as an intro to high angle 5, then reviewed 6 count, serrada drill and MBC sumbrada applying 50/50 to all three at a working pace. Clarified 1 step vs 2 step on the master tech speed stops. Did some rev grip, trap and roll and cover and slash exploring the 3 options on angle 1, introduced palisut drill on the angle 2.

Continued exploration into the Lego Method, additional exploration and refinement on outside/outside, 6 Count, Serrada, MBC Sumbrada and the master technique.

Had a chance to share some MBC and CBC concepts and techniques with a FMA brother from the Netherlands who had never heard of Martial Blade Concepts. He loved it.

While in NYC, I had an opportunity to share a few MBC fundamentals and some drills with my friend and fellow FMA practicioner Eugene Lin. we covered the master key technique and the 4 responses to angles 1, 3 & 5 and CBC Split X and a couple drills outside/outside and the serrada drill. He had not heard of MBC, but was very complimentary of its methodology and practical application. As a seasoned martial artist he took to it like picking up an insturment he'd played before, it was effortless, and I was glad to be able to share it with him.
