About Just Hatched Chefs:

Beginning to cook at an early age establishes a healthy foundation for the rest of our lives.

At Just Hatched Chefs, we believe one of the most profound ways to prepare children for the future is to not only teach them how to cook but also to educate them about where their food comes from, what makes it healthy, and the joy of creating new and unique dishes.

While there are many cooking programs available, most are not developed by individuals with a background in education, which impacts the quality of instruction at a foundational level. With a combined 25 years in education, Christine Kojak, EdD, and Thom Kojak, MA, deeply understand the need for structure and learning objectives to help kids flourish and have fun in any learning environment.

As educators, we have developed our curriculum, classes, and recipes specifically for children ages 3-12, designed to be implemented in preschools, elementary schools, and after-school programs. Our aim is to foster a love of food and learning for the next generation

Join the Junior Chefs Adventure Camp, where 1st to 6th graders embark on a culinary journey through three exciting week-long sessions: Culinary 101, International Delights, and Sweet Treats.

For $200 per week, campers will learn essential kitchen skills, explore global cuisines, and create delicious desserts, all while developing valuable cooking techniques they can use at home.

Each week includes hands-on cooking lessons, food to bring home, recipes, and lunch, ensuring a fun and educational experience.

Culinary 101 June 10-13 9:00 - 2:00
Welcome to Culinary 101, the ultimate kitchen boot camp for aspiring chefs in 1st to 6th grade! This week-long camp is packed with hands-on lessons in basic cooking techniques, essential kitchen skills, and easy-to-make recipes. From chopping and sautéing to baking and plating, kids will gain the confidence and knowledge to become master chefs in no time!

International Delights June 17-20 9:00 - 2:00
Embark on a week-long journey around the world with International Delights! Kids will explore diverse cultures through their cuisines, learning to cook delicious dishes from different countries each day. From making Italian pasta to crafting Japanese sushi, every meal is an exciting adventure in global flavors and fun!

Sweet Treats June 24-27 9:00 - 2:00
Indulge in a week of sugary fun at Sweet Treats! This camp is a dessert lover's dream come true, where kids learn to create a variety of delicious confections, from cookies and cupcakes to candies and ice creams. Each day is filled with sweet adventures, creative baking challenges, and delectable delights that will satisfy every young chef's sweet tooth!
