Today at the AAU Junior Olympics Ty took 2nd place in Javelin with a PR on the 400gm Javelin of 105’4”.

After 2 Junior Olympics Ty came home with 4 medals.

USATF: 1st Place Shot Put and 7th Place Javelin
AAU: 2nd place Shot Put and 2nd Place Javelin.

Thank you to all the GH parents and coaches who supported and pushed Ty to be his best. Thank you to all the family and friends from near and far who cheered him on.

And a special shout out to the Greater Houston Track Club and throwing coach Coach Edwards.

USATF Hershey Junior Olympics is officially in the record books. What an awesome time.

Ty had a very rough first day, but fought through it to get in that stage with a finish of 7 th place in Javelin.
(104’ 9”)

He did not place in High jump in his first year but battled in the top flight.

But on the last day, he bounced back and came with that fight and determination he has had throughout this season. He battled to finish 1at place in Shot Put (31’ 1 1/4”)

He is officially a USATF
All American and NATIONAL CHAMPION.

Now our way to NC for ty AAU Junior Olympics. Fight for a repeat.

We all had a blast. Coach White is now officially a soccer fan.😊

2019 USATF Region 12 Champion in Javelin, Shot Put and High Jump.

He finished the USATF Regional with :
1st place High Jump PR of 3’10 1/4”
1st Place Shot Put 30’7 1/2”
1st Place Javelin 118’8”

Ty officially has now qualified for both USATF and AAU Junior Olympics.

The battle begins in 2 weeks. Junior Olympics x 2 here we come.
