🚀 Alumni Spotlight: Jayati Roy Choudhury, Bioscience and Health Policy Program

When Jayati enrolled in Rice’s PSM Bioscience and Health Policy program, NASA wasn’t even on her radar. A former bench researcher, she was looking to stay connected to science through a policy lens—but everything changed when she landed an internship at Johnson Space Center.

Today, Jayati serves as a Portfolio Integrator within NASA’s Human Factors and Behavioral Performance Element, building a career she never imagined when she first started the program.

Our Alumni Board had the opportunity to sit down with Jayati to learn more about her journey and how a BHP degree can open doors to unexpected and exciting paths.
