Students with dyslexia are invited to create artwork celebrating the creativity, imagination, strengths, and unique perspectives that make their minds extraordinary.

Being an English Learner does not cause dyslexia.

A student can be both an English Learner and have dyslexia. The challenge is ensuring that reading difficulties are evaluated carefully so that language acquisition isn't mistaken for a learning disability—and vice versa.

The International Dyslexia Association emphasizes that early, accurate identification is essential. Educators should consider language development, literacy skills in both languages (when appropriate), family history, and the quality of instruction before making decisions about intervention.

Every child deserves the opportunity to receive the right support at the right time.
