🐄🐖 This month in Little Spanish Brains we are exploring… Farm Animals! 🌾
Our students are having a blast learning the names of farm animals in Spanish through songs, movement, stories, and interactive lessons. By singing, playing, and repeating new words, children naturally build their Spanish vocabulary while having fun.
¡En la granja aprendemos y nos divertimos! 🐓🎶
Little Spanish Brains
Little Spanish Brains offers fun spanish lessons for children in Houston, TX and surrounding areas (Sugar Land, Pearland, Katy).
Lessons are offered at your child's school or at your home.
At Little Spanish Brains, Spanish is never taught in isolation. 🌟
Our lessons integrate early learning skills like fine motor development, counting, and number sense, so children are learning language while strengthening important cognitive abilities.
Through playful challenges, hands-on activities, and movement, kids stay engaged, curious, and excited to learn — and they love the challenge! 🧠✨
Little minds, big Spanish learning! ☀️🐻
In this moment, our students are actively responding to their teacher as they talk about el clima (the weather) and help a little bear decide what to wear. Using props, questions, and lots of interaction, children naturally practice listening and speaking in Spanish.
Learning a new language becomes an adventure when kids can see it, touch it, and respond to it! 🌦️🧣
At Little Spanish Brains, our greatest joy is watching children discover a new language through play, music, and movement.
Their laughter, curiosity, and excitement remind us every day why we love what we do.
Teaching Spanish to young children is truly the best therapy. ❤️
Every Spanish lesson we teach is filled with love, energy, and passion. ❤️
Our teachers pour their hearts into creating joyful moments for every child.
Because when children feel the love, learning happens naturally. ✨ #
✨ ¡Qué día tan maravilloso en el Grand Reopening de ✨
Today, was excited to be part of the Grand Reopening celebration, where families had the opportunity to experience our Spanish enrichment program in action!
During the demo classes, our teacher welcomed both current and prospective students and gave them a glimpse into what children are learning every week in their Spanish class — included as part of their school tuition.
Through songs, movement, hands-on materials, and playful interaction, children practiced vocabulary, responded confidently in Spanish, and discovered that learning a new language can be joyful, natural, and fun. 💛
It was beautiful to see curious little learners singing, repeating new words, and engaging with excitement while families observed how language learning happens through play and meaningful connection.
Thank you to The Goddard School for inviting us to celebrate this special milestone and for prioritizing bilingual learning as part of your students’ everyday educational experience.
🌟 ¡Aprender español nunca había sido tan divertido!

This month in our youngest learners explored “Shapes Around Us” — and most importantly, they learned to recognize and say their shapes IN SPANISH! 🔺🔵🟥
Mrs. Sabrina had a wonderful time reviewing shapes with her amazing 3-year-olds as they practiced words like círculo, cuadrado, triángulo, and rectángulo through songs, movement, and real-life objects. Hearing these little voices confidently naming shapes in Spanish was truly the highlight of the day!
At Little Spanish Brains, we make language learning joyful, hands-on, and meaningful — because even our youngest students can begin speaking Spanish with confidence. 🌟
Little Spanish Brains in action! 🎉
Mrs. Fátima is helping our youngest learners (age 3) build confidence in Spanish through hands-on play, movement, and joyful conversation. In this lesson, students explored shapes and practiced numbers 1–10 while sitting in circle time, using visual cards, repetition, and interactive questions to encourage participation.
At this age, language learning is all about:
✨ Listening and repeating
✨ Connecting words to visuals
✨ Counting together
✨ Learning through play and social interaction
We love watching our students begin to recognize Spanish words, respond to prompts, and proudly count along with their teacher. ¡Pequeños pasos, grandes logros! 💛

❄️🐧 Winter fun in Spanish class! 🐻❄️
Our Little Spanish BRAINS kids are diving into the world of invierno as they learn about winter weather and arctic animals — and it couldn’t be more perfect for this cold weather! Through songs, movement, stories, and play, our students are building vocabulary while exploring animals like el oso polar, el pingüino, and la foca.
Seasonal learning helps children connect language to the world around them. When they see cold weather outside and hear winter words in Spanish inside the classroom, the learning becomes meaningful, memorable, and exciting. ❄️✨
Watching them roar like polar bears, waddle like penguins, and shout their new Spanish words with confidence is pure joy. Language learning is always more powerful when it’s playful — and winter has brought so much magic to our classes!

💛 Learning Together = Growing Together 💛
One of our amazing Parent & Me families shared this sweet moment of their 2.5-year-old practicing his Spanish colors at home with his dad using the “Run to the Color” game! 🎨👣
This is exactly what Little Spanish Brains is all about—making language learning fun, active, and meaningful while strengthening the parent-child bond. When parents learn alongside their children, it builds confidence, boosts retention, and turns practice time into quality family time.
Seeing our families bring Spanish into their homes is the most rewarding part of what we do. ¡Así se aprende jugando! 🇪🇸✨

Our Story - Where the Passion Begins
In 2001, a unique Spanish Program for children called Ana's Amigos Enrichment Programs was created in Nashville, TN. Its exclusive Spanish curriculum for preschoolers and school age children was implemented in more than 30 school sites, and served over 3,000 children in Tennessee from 2001-2006, becoming the #1 Spanish Program in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. Early in 2007, Ana's Amigos closed its doors in TN when its founder/owner, Ana Pasarella, moved with her family to Houston, TX.
In 2019, Ana's Amigos will reopen its doors in TX with a new name - Little Spanish Brains - to bring high quality Spanish language instruction to children in the Houston area. After spending many years in the Bilingual Public Education System in TX, Ana Pasarella has revamped the curriculum she created for Ana's Amigos with the most up-to-date and research based language acquisition strategies.
Little Spanish Brains comes to TX to offer children the opportunity to learn a second language in an easy, engaging, and interactive way.
