Head Down, Sleeves Up is a song that’s very dear to me. It’s a concept that exemplifies the core values of not only work ethic and life, but also fatherhood.

This is what lead to my son gracing the cover art that displays him sitting on my shoulders. In his world, I’ve always been the giant that he looks up to and it’s my duty to position him to see even further than I can.

It highlights the sacrifices that often get overlooked behind the scenes. With this visual, I shed light on the everyday realities as parents trying to balance work and life.

My number one goal and intention with this visual is to touch at least 100 fathers across the world. And may those 100 fathers support my vision and share this video with someone dear to them.

The visual features the support of my good friends Maven Gray and K-Rino, along with my son Weston. Hope you all enjoy!

Overall, today was a good day. Interesting, yet funny. I hoped that I would’ve gotten Harden to autograph my artwork and also bless him with a gift, however he declined, twice 😂. But sometimes you have to roll with the punches and take one on the chin. At least I achieved what I sought out to do, and that was to put myself in position to meet him. Well... I made it to the VIP dugout. Maybe next time though, lol. Still had a cool time and insightful experience up close. Never let the word “NO” stop you from persisting.

Creative update on what I’m learning right now. This is why I’m always encouraging creatives to never stop learning. Everyday is an opportunity to stretch yourself and go above and beyond.

By the way, I just learned this program and got access to this tool less than 24 hours ago. The moral to this story?... keep sharpening your iron.
