Today marks not only the last day of school, but also the last day in the halls of the old OG 🧡🎓

For years, Orange Grove Elementary has been filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and unforgettable memories. While it’s hard to say goodbye to the building that has meant so much to so many, we are excited for the new chapter ahead.

☕⭐ 1st Grade had an amazing “Starbooks Day” today! Students practiced reading, math, and even “charging” their fake cards while having fun learning through real-world activities. After all their hard work, they enjoyed a special drink and snack treat! 📚➕🥤 We are so proud of our little learners and the fun they had today! 🧡

Join us as we celebrate the old OG one last time before we begin an exciting new chapter. We hope to see our families, former students, staff, and community there! ✨🧡

☀️🏃‍♂️ Sports Day Recap! 🏃‍♀️☀️

Last Thursday, our 1st–4th graders had an amazing Sports Day filled with fun, laughter, and lots of energy! Students enjoyed exciting activities, splashing on the water slides, cooling off at the bubble station, and creating unforgettable memories with their friends. 💦🫧

Yesterday, our students explored exciting career paths and met amazing professionals! We welcomed a paramedic, boxers, an aerospace engineer, Brazos Avionics, an animal control officer, a registered nurse, and a designer.

Yesterday we kicked off SEL Week with a fun Dr. Seuss–themed dress day! Our students celebrated being confident, unique, and proud of who they are.
