Caller: Oh, it’s just that my wife has left me two salmon sandwiches…
Operator: This is an emergency number…
Caller: …which were left over from last night, and I’m sitting around here in the chair and she’s out there doing the gardening. She won’t put any food on or anything for anybody. I don’t know what to, erm…
Operator: I’m sorry but I really can’t take this. It’s not an emergency because your wife won’t give you anything to eat.
Caller: But do you think I should eat the salmon sandwiches.
They might have gone off or something…can it make me feel nausea
Operator: Thank you for your call
Caller: and she keeps saying: flatten your belly

it’s just that- sadəcə
sit around- vaxtını boş yerə keçirmək

gone off- yemək boyatlayıb
doing gardening - bağbanlıq etmək
run out of something - nəyinsə tükənməsi,bitməsi
flatten my belly - qarnı düzləşdirmək,beli incəltmək
