Here, she unveils the mystery behind the award-winning Tejas Chocolate & BBQ in Tomball. Owner Scott Moore discusses the craft chocolate and barbecue spot being in the “Texas Monthly” Top 50 and earning two Michelin Bib Gourmand awards. He also shares some behind-the-scenes of smoking barbecue, making craft chocolate and putting it altogether with its scrumptious sides.

Meet Farren Friedell, a student in the Interpreting Training/American Sign Language (ASL) program.
Farren has found not just a path in ASL, but a purpose. She approaches her education with a sense of determination, and every obstacle she's faced has strengthened her perspective and fueled her drive to finish strong.
With just 10 classes to go, Farren is closing in on a milestone she doesn’t take for granted—graduation. She is already looking ahead, with plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in ASL Interpreting.
What stands out most to Farren? The constant support from her HCC village, a community that uplifts and encourages every step of the way.
Her message says it all: “If you're considering college, HCC is the place to be!”
