One of the most underutilized resources in schools today? Peers.

Peer support programs create opportunities for students to learn from, connect with, and support one another both academically and socially.

When schools intentionally build peer connections into classrooms, everyone benefits:
• Students feel more included and supported
• Friendships and understanding grow
• Teachers foster more collaborative classrooms
• School communities become stronger and more welcoming

Sometimes the most meaningful support comes from another student simply saying, “You’ve got a friend here.”

Different perspectives make stronger communities.

When individuals are supported in thinking for themselves while still working together, it creates space for creativity, respect, and real connection.

That’s where meaningful collaboration begins.

Summer is right around the corner! ☀️

If you have a 6-8 year old, this is a great time to keep reading part of their routine without it feeling like school.

A few good books and a little consistency can go a long way in building confidence and keeping skills strong through the summer months.

Save this list for your next library trip! 📚

Strong school leadership shapes everything, especially when it comes to inclusion.

Principals play a critical role in building schools where all students feel supported, challenged, and part of the community. From setting a clear vision to creating time for collaboration and ensuring access to the general curriculum, their leadership sets the tone for what’s possible.

Inclusive schools don’t happen by chance. They are built intentionally through strong leadership, shared responsibility, and a commitment to meeting the needs of every learner.

What happens when schools are designed to fit students, not the other way around?

A new study shows stronger academic outcomes, higher graduation rates, and more engaged students when learners with disabilities are at the center of school design.

Not more accommodations, better design from the start.
When we shift the system, we change the outcomes.
