International Parade & Festival is coming to Twain! ✨🌎

Join us as we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and diversity that make our Twain community so special.

Families are invited to participate by:
• Hosting a country or culture booth
• Performing in the festival
• Volunteering to help make the event a success

This is a wonderful opportunity to share traditions, learn from one another, and celebrate the global community that makes Twain unique.

🦸‍♀️🦹‍♂️ Heroes & Villains Bash 2026 — what a night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an epic evening of capes, villains, dancing, and incredible community spirit. Seeing the Twain community show up in full force made this year’s Bash truly unforgettable.

A very special thank you to Maggie Dundon, Claire Bormaster and Katie Mendez for your HARD work and dedication to Mark Twain.

Because of this incredible community, we unleashed the power of more than $230,000 in revenue to support our students, teachers, and programs at Mark Twain Elementary. That’s a truly superhuman achievement. 💥🐯

A huge round of applause to our incredible students for delivering a powerful Black History Month program honoring Dr. Carter G. Woodson and ‘A Century of Commemorating Black History’!

From speaking and singing to dancing and acting, our students truly shined. Special thanks to featured professional dancer Ms. Lauren Burke, the University of Houston brothers of Omega Psi Phi, and DJ Mr. Zuriel Hodge. Thank you to Principal Michele Rawson for her continued support, our amazing PTO, and Stacie Moore, Madeline Morales, Michele Ogletree, Alyssa Stephens, and forever Twain volunteer Camora Kuo for helping make it all possible.

And a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Krystal Carter for writing the program, directing students, and coordinating parent volunteers.
