Our HFW Academy Dance students did a fantastic job at their showcase last month! They really showed the Power of Praise through dance! We’re so excited to see how God uses our dance program going into the summer! (Check out our last dance post for the schedule and QR code to signup for our summer sessions!)

Thursdays
K- 5th: 4:30-5:15PM Ballet & Creative Movement.
6th-12th: 5:15-6:15PM Exploring Dance
Adults: 6:15-7:30PM Worship through Dance

Makeup day is 10 days away! Do you have your spot reserved for May 16th yet? We'll be open for students to have a make up lesson just in case you have any credits you'd like to take care of! If you don't know what a make up credit is or if you have a question about how many credits you may have, feel free to call or reach out via email: [email protected] and we'd be happy to answer any questions.

Join us for our Music Recital coming up on May 9th in the Houston’s First Chapel! We’re so excited to see the fruit of God’s work in our HFW Academy Music students! Recital times will be in the following sessions.
3PM: Students of Nikki Moss and Melinda Harrison.
4:30PM: Students of Sean Gaskin and Cassie Schimanski.
6PM: Students of Jose Betancourt and Elisa Standridge.
Please come dressed in your Sunday Best! We’ll have a reception to follow each session.

Students, families, and friends! Join us for an evening of worship through dance at Houston’s First Worship Academy.
The academy will showcase choreographed works featuring ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop! Praise is a powerful tool to redirect our attention, purpose and love towards our worthy Savior. What a gift to praise His name through dance! The showcase will take place at Houston’s First Baptist Church The Chapel, on April 30th and start at 7PM with a brief reception to follow. Come and enjoy all the work and diligence our students have been cultivating as we celebrate the Lord together!
