Sheldon ISD will resume normal operations tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2, 2026. All schools and district offices will be open, and buses will run on their regular schedules.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our families and staff as we prioritized safety during the recent weather conditions. We look forward to welcoming our students and staff back tomorrow!

This required packet includes essential consent forms under Senate Bill 12 (SB 12) for campus health and counseling services. Completing these forms ensures your student has uninterrupted access to all campus support resources from day one!

Sheldon ISD is proud to announce that the district earned an “A – Superior” rating with a 98% score through School FIRST, the Texas Education Agency’s financial accountability system for public schools!

This superior rating reflects our continued commitment to responsible financial management, transparency, and strong stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Every dollar matters, and we remain committed to making sound financial decisions that support our students, staff, schools, and programs.

Due to anticipated weather conditions that may impact safe travel and district operations, Sheldon ISD will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2026. All schools and district offices will be closed, and all district activities are canceled.

💥 STATEMENT WIN TO START THE SEASON! 🏈🐾

What a night at Panther Stadium! Our C.E. King Panthers kicked off the new season in dominant fashion with a landslide victory over the Conroe Tigers! 🌩️🔥

Before taking care of business on the field, we got to celebrate our amazing Senior Football Players, Cheerleaders, and Student Athletic Trainers! Thank you to our seniors and their families for your years of dedication, leadership, and Panther Pride. Senior photos are in our Facebook Album for all the love and smiles.💙

Now, it's time to take that momentum on the road!

C.E. King High School Mini-Cheer Clinic

Open to all ECA, Elementary, or Middle School aged students.

Camp to learn cheers, jumps, and chants will occur on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the C.E. King High School 9th and 10th Grade Campus from 8:30AM-12:00PM, including a Showcase Performance at 11:45AM in the campus Competition Gym.

Camp participants will also be able to cheer with the KHS Cheerleaders at the Friday, September 25, varsity football game against Crosby on the field at Panther Stadium. (Camp participants will get free entry to the game, but all parents, guardians, family, or guests will still have to pay for game tickets to attend.)

We can’t wait to welcome our Panther community back to Panther Stadium! Before heading out to cheer on the Panthers, please take a moment to review our stadium expectations and regulations so everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, and exciting game-day experience.

📣 A few important reminders:
• Elementary and middle school students must enter with a parent/guardian and remain with them throughout the game.
• High school students must present their district-issued school ID badge.
• High school students not sitting with a parent must sit in the designated student section.
• No loitering on the concourse.
• Clear bag policy is in effect.
• Metal detectors are used upon entry.
• No umbrellas are allowed inside the stadium.
