What does it mean to be a Warrior?

As the final attribute of FBA's Portrait of a Graduate, We Are Warriors reminds us that being a warrior is about far more than a mascot. It is a mindset rooted in faith, perseverance and service.

In the Warriors episode of Warrior Wisdom, we explore how a warrior in God's Kingdom doesn't escape hardship but perseveres through the strength of Jesus Christ. Warriors prepare daily, remain focused on the calling God has placed before them and understand that true strength is found in serving others.

At First Baptist Academy, students are equipped academically, physically and spiritually to take an active role in God's plan for their lives. Our hope is that graduates leave FBA prepared to stand firm in their faith, courageously serve others and faithfully pursue the purpose God has set before them.

What does it mean to be a Difference Maker?

As one of the attributes in FBA's Portrait of a Graduate, We Are Difference Makers reminds us that God has uniquely created and positioned each of us to make a difference right where we are. Rooted in Ephesians 2:10, our students are called to live with purpose, intention and eternity in mind.

In the Difference Makers episode of Warrior Wisdom, we explore how difference makers see opportunities where others see problems and trust that God is working through them even when the impact isn't immediately visible. Students are encouraged to understand that they have been created for good works and equipped to make a difference wherever God leads them.

What does it mean to be an Overcomer?

As one of the attributes in FBA's Portrait of a Graduate, We Are Overcomers reminds us that adversity is inevitable, but victory is found in Christ. Jesus tells the disciples in John 16:33, "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."

In the Overcomers episode of Warrior Wisdom, we explore how students are equipped to persevere through challenges with biblical truth and practical tools, including the four concepts of the entrepreneurial mindset.

Our hope is for graduates to face life's challenges with confidence, trusting that God is bigger than anything they might encounter and walking in the victory that is theirs in Christ.

At First Baptist Academy, we believe each student is intentionally created by God with talents and abilities that reflect His creativity and purpose.

In the Uniquely Gifted episode on the Warrior Wisdom podcast, we explore how having teachable hearts, pursuing lifelong learning and recognizing the gifts of others allows us to steward our God-given abilities in ways that honor Him and serve those around us.

Our summer fun at FBA kicked off yesterday with ceramics day! 🏺 Our toddlers, twos, prek and bridge kinder students enjoyed a special ceramics demonstration, where they learned how artists transform clay into beautiful bowls and vases. The fun didn't stop there; students got to take a piece of clay back to their classrooms to create something themselves!

Hands-on experiences like these spark curiosity, creativity and a love of learning at an early age. We can't wait for more summer fun ahead!

Heading into summer with academic goals met, seniors clapped out, eighth grade celebrated and snow cones fully enjoyed!

Last week gave us all the end-of-year joy, from Lower School Progress Parade to our Senior Clap Out, Eighth Grade Graduation and End of Year Bash. We finished strong, celebrated BIG and made lots of memories along the way.

Cue the confetti...and the popcorn. 🎉🍿
