We want to give a big thank you to everyone who contributed their time, bought plates, donated money and came out to support to make the BBQ a great success. Please continue to keep our Brother Chris in your prayers.

Houston Annual Alumni Thanksgiving Dinner

On Friday September 11th, the Houston Alumni Association of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. hosted an “Astros Night Out” tailgate party which was attended by over 50 people. Guests included family, friends, members of other Greek Organizations and local radio personality, DJ Bo Corona. Everyone was treated to music, pizza, dessert, a festive atmosphere and a ticket to see the Astros take on the Pirates.

As always, one of the many goals HAA has, is to unite Alumni Brothers of SLB who make Houston their home and “Astros Night Out”, most certainly lived up to that principle! Alumni Brothers from the Eta Alpha, Mu, Epsilon Beta, Nu Gamma and Xi Gamma Chapters came out in full force! Once inside the game, Brothers and guests proceeded to get the entire stadium to do the “Wave” demonstrating our SLB and Astros pride! The game was capped off with a fireworks show and later, an impromptu break-dance performance by Brother John “Juando” Morales’ two youngest sons. A great night indeed!

SLB-HAA and its Executive Board would like to thank everyone who made this event a success! We hope to see you at the next event!
