This isn’t just a summer race it’s a head start on Christmas for thousands of local families in need.

There’s a race for everyone:

Reindeer Kids Dash (10 & Under)-starts at 7:15 AM

Red Kettle 5k Run/Walk-starts at 7:30 AM

Angle Tree 10K Run/Walk-starts at 7:30 AM

Race Day Packet Pickup: begins at 6:00 AM

The course winds through the scenic trails of TC Jester Park (4201 TC Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77018), bringing together runners, families, corporate teams, and community partners for a high-energy, festive summer celebration with a Christmas twist.

Angel Tree Applications Open Soon!
The Salvation Army of Temple Corps 2025 Angel Tree program for children newborn to 12 years old will begin accepting applications online on Monday, September 29th.

✅ Important: You must complete the entire application within 24 hours. Incomplete applications will be deleted and not considered.

Limited spots are available and is based on financial hardship. Previous eligibility does not guarantee automatic eligibility this year.

• Proof of Guardianship for Each Child
• Proof of Household Income
• List of All Household Members
• Proof of Current Residence
• Current Government Statement

Houston Temple Corps had a wonderful Angel Tree Christmas Toy distribution today. Volunteers were so awesome and the distribution was so smooth and well. All our clients were so happy because of our volunteers’ gentleness and kindness and also received the great gifts!!!

We are ready to distribute Angel Tree gifts for our community kids. Temple Corps really appreciate all the volunteers who unloaded and lined up the all the gifts.
