Mrs. Diane Guevara
Mrs. Guevara will be retiring from OSL after 16 years serving as the Marketing and Admissions Director. During her time at OSL she has poured out her heart into this school and has personally touched lives of countless scholars. She will be greatly missed but we know she will be a blessing to so many as she transitions into her new career as a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC).

Ms. Jeanene Lunsford
We honor Ms. Lunsford for her 30 years of dedication and service to Our Savior Lutheran Church and School. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director as well as a Logic School Math educator. Her dedication and commitment to this school, its culture, the families, and our scholars is present in all that she does.

Mr. Jeff Armstrong
We honor Mr. Armstrong for his 25 years as the Director of Music. Mr. Armstrong currently serves as the Minister of Music and Classroom Music Educator for grades 3-8. Mr. Armstrong has previous held titles such as: Minister of Music, DCE, Religion teacher grade 7 and classroom music pre-school to grade 8.
The thing he loves most about teaching at OSL is how awesome the scholars are and how they aren’t afraid to try new things. He affirms that the blessings are countless.

Mrs. Michelle Kleb
Mrs. Kleb will be retiring from OSL after 7 years as an educator. During her time at OSL she taught scholars in grades 3 and 4. She has loved watching these scholars desire for knowledge and interest in all things learning. We will miss her dearly but excited for her next steps as she takes time to focus on her family.

Mr. Zachary Brumbaugh
Mr. Brumbaugh has served OSL Fine Arts Program since 2018 as the Director of Beginning and Advanced bands. Over the past 6 years he has shared his passion for music with our scholars, and we sincerely thank him for his service. Mr. Brumbaugh will be relocating to Ohio to be near family.

We are excited to announce that we will be having summer open gym Sundays 4-5:30pm. Practice starts THIS SUNDAY! Please note this coed skills development practice is designed for currently enrolled OSL scholars in rising grades 3-8!

Congratulations to all our incoming house prefects and to our house cup winners. To our outgoing prefects, thank you for leading your houses so well.

St. Pius Principal Mrs. Ware attended OSL closing ceremonies where she awarded two OSL grade 8 scholars with the Pius Merit Scholarship. Pius Merit Scholarships are awarded annually to incoming freshmen or transfer students that are in the top 1% - 4% of their applicant pool. Congratulations to OSL Salutatorian Emelia H. and OSL Honors Student Asher F. on their academic success and best of wishes as you enter St. Pius as freshman in the fall.

Alis Aquilae 2024

The Alis Aquilae award was instituted in 2007 to honor OSL’s 60th year of Christian education. Since then, the tradition has continued and the plaque outside the gymnasium door bears the names of the scholars who achieve the highest honors in the 8th grade class as valedictorian, salutatorian, and honor student as well as alumni who go on to graduate in the Top 10 percent of their high school class. We are blessed to announce that four of our alumni from the OSL class of 2020 have achieved the ranking of Top 10 percent at their high school. We would like to recognize their dedication and commitment to academic excellence and had the pleasure to present them with a scholarship to use at the college they will be attending in the fall.

7th Grade Class Trip - Day 2

Grade 4 scholar Andrea found a caterpillar in her yard so she brought him into class. The class named him Norman. The scholars fed him from the same plant they found him, watched him grow and turn into a chrysalis. Today he emerged as a Giant Swallowtail. Say hello to Norman! We think he’s beautiful!
