Lucky, bold, and full of prosperity ✨🐍🧧
Created this Lunar New Year birthday cake was extra special because the birthday celebrant was the Year of the Snake — elegant, intuitive, and powerful — even though we’re officially celebrating the Year of the Horse this year 🐎❤️
I wanted this design to feel like a fusion of tradition and celebration: rich reds for luck and happiness, gold accents for wealth and abundance, fresh florals and fruit for prosperity, and of course the statement gold snake centerpiece to honor their zodiac year ✨
Every detail was inspired by Lunar New Year symbolism while still feeling modern, luxe, and birthday-worthy. One of my favorite cakes I’ve ever created ❤️🎂
