We are so excited to announce that Rice Alliance was named one of seven winners for the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN²), a technology incubator and platform funded by the Wells Fargo Foundation and co-administered by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)! As a recipient of one of the awards for its sixth cycle of Channel Partner Strategic Awards, we received $125,000 that will help us continue our mission to support attracting diverse clean energy startups to the Rice Business Plan Competition.

We are nearly one week away from the application deadline for the Rice Business Plan Competition—the largest and richest student startup competition. We are eager to see the brilliant ideas student entrepreneurs are working on across the country and world. Applications are now open for the 2021 Rice Business Plan Competition—the world’s richest and largest graduate-level student startup competition. Last year 42 teams from around the world competed for more than $1.3 million in prizes, with 7 teams each winning $100,000 or more.
