At this moment, we say farewell to one of our favorite and most beloved Montessori Guides, Ms. Rose. ❤️🌹

Ms. Rose taught at our campus as a Lead Children’s House Guide for several years. She passed away peacefully at home with her family this Sunday.

Ms. Rose lit up a room. She was known for her laughter, love of Elvis Presley, and commitment to early literacy. She was approachable, and she could work well with anyone using her sharp wit and tact. She was well-respected by her colleagues, and she embraced Montessori education with her soul.

Throughout her career, Ms. Rose served as a Montessori Guide, a Head of School, and Administrator. She studied alongside the famed Montessorian Sister Edna Ann, which led to a deep love of reading and writing instruction, and supporting early literacy for hundreds of children across northwest Houston. Ms. Rose was a devoted wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a beloved colleague. She will be so deeply missed.
