I’m going to be honest with you.
I do this work for completely selfish reasons.
I just want healthy le****ns so I can find a girlfriend. 😂
But for real.
I was sick of the UHaul joke. Not just hearing it but living it. Watching it. Seeing brilliant women fall in love on a Tuesday and lose themselves completely by Friday.
I was sick of watching us nest so deep into relationships that we forgot we were whole people before she came along.
I was sick of doing it myself.
Losing myself. Watching it fall apart. And wondering why it kept happening.
So I made a decision.
If I want something different I have to create it.
I had heard secure relationships existed. I had just never been in one. Never really seen one up close.
So when the opportunity presented itself to try again
I didn’t run back to what was familiar.
I rose to the challenge.
And I decided this was my do over.
Not just for me.
For all of us.
Because if I can figure this out, if I can actually build something secure and real and mutual,
then I can show you how too.
That’s why I do this work.
Selfish. Completely selfish. 😂🩵

You know the feeling.
You send the text and then immediately —
😮‍💨your stomach drops.
😮‍💨your chest tightens.
😮‍💨your breath gets shallow.
😮‍💨And then the wait begins.

You check your phone.

Put it down.

Pick it up again.

Check it again.

⌛️ It’s been 4 minutes.

⏳ Feels like 4 days.

You start doing the math.
She was online 20 minutes ago.

She’s seen it.

Then the spiral begins:
🌀 Why hasn’t she responded?

🌀Is she with someone?
🌀Did I say something wrong?
🌀Maybe I shouldn’t have sent it.
🌀Maybe I came on too strong.
🌀Maybe she’s pulling away.
🌀Maybe this is it.

All of that.
In under 10 minutes.

But here’s what I want you to understand.

That spiral isn’t about her.

It’s your nervous system doing what it learned to do a long time ago.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Waiting to be left.

Waiting to find out you were too much again.

The anxiety isn’t the problem.
It’s the signal.

And you deserve to understand what it’s actually telling you.
