Rice Study Abroad

The Rice Office of Study Abroad welcomes all Rice undergraduate students to our annual Study Abroad Fair! Please join us TOMORROW: Friday, September 5th, 2025 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Grand Hall (inside the RMC)!

The fair is designed to give students the opportunity to meet face-to-face with our exchange and direct enrollment institutions, as well as select third-party provider representatives. In addition to that, expect to see a handful of exchange students and study abroad alumni, who will be there to share their experiences.

All Rice Office of Study Abroad staff members will also be present to share information and answer questions. Come ask questions and hear about the many study abroad opportunities that are available through our office!

The 2025 Study Abroad Photography Contest is officially open for entries! 📷🌏

Each year we invite students who studied abroad during the previous calendar year to enter our study abroad photography contest. Our office aims to showcase photos that demonstrate an understanding of the country a student lived in, as well as integration into its culture beyond that which a casual traveler attains.

To all who are eligible: This is your chance to visually share your study abroad journey with the Rice community! If you studied abroad through the Rice Office of Study Abroad during the year 2024, we strongly encouraged you to enter.

David studied abroad in Spring 24 on the CIEE Arts and Sciences program in Seoul, South Korea.

Our annual Study Abroad Fair is only one week away!

This year the fair will take place on Friday, September 6, 2023, from 11AM-2PM in the RMC / Grand Hall.

We encourage all interested undergraduate students to take advantage of this opportunity to meet face-to-face with our exchange & direct enrollment institutions, as well as select third party provider representatives. A number of study abroad alumni will be present to share their experiences abroad and talk about the specific programs they participated in. Students will also get the chance to meet the current visiting exchange students on campus for the Fall semester!
