As former Houston City Controller, Chris brought years of leadership and financial oversight experience in service of the Houston community. Throughout his career across both the public and private sectors, he has led complex operations, supported community development initiatives, and served in leadership roles with organizations across Houston and beyond.

Chris has been a supporter of iEducate in many ways, and we are grateful to now have his leadership, insight, and commitment helping guide the future of our work. We are excited to have him on board as we continue strengthening the teacher pipeline and expanding impact for students across Houston.

Become an Ambassador! iEducate is hiring current & former tutors to serve as Ambassadors this Spring 2023. Ambassadors are paid to promote iEducate’s mission and ultimately hire more tutors to support our elementary school partners.

You must be:
✅ A current or former iEducate tutor
✅ Available 1 day per week 9AM and 4PM Mon-Fri outside of your tutoring schedule
✅ Able to commute to different colleges, universities, and other recruiting locations across Houston

📣iEducate is hiring for an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader!📣

Duties for this role include supporting program growth, recruiting and onboarding of new VISTA members, and strengthening individual project successes through member communication, member support/training, and monitoring member reporting.

Benefits & Requirements:
🌟 Must be a college graduate & eligible to work in the US
🌟 Required to commute to work in-office
🌟 Receive a monthly living stipend, AmeriCorps benefits, and iEducate perks throughout service
