I’ve wrapped my first visit to India, hosted by Hemant and the FedEx India team.

India is the world’s pharmacy. Indian companies supply four out of every ten prescriptions filled in the United States.

I came to learn. I came to support better global collaboration. I’m leaving humbled, impressed and with clearer vision.

India, thank you for showing me the spirit of Atithi Devo Bhava.

On to Ireland.

When I started this work, I had to drive through literal cornfields to get to some of my clients. Before that I was driving a forklift loading trucks. Now I’m blessed to be tasked with expanding markets globally.

Mumbai and Dublin this week. Spain and a return to Switzerland on deck. I’m humbled by the opportunity and pray I bring value everywhere I go.

Speaking at UAB on September 15.

The Collat School of Business Center for Sales Leadership asked me to teach their sales students what the work actually looks like.

These students are two semesters from carrying a bag and I want them walking in ready.

Final travel update for now. Basel I Switzerland definitely was my speed. Great mix of business climate and life balance. Very diverse, as well. Easy airport. Easy to move around the rest of Europe by train.

Very much gave the feeling “a person could live here” with no hesitation or regrets.

London is magnificent. Something picture worthy on every corner. So many thoughts and observations. One thing I noticed is that the pub culture is real. I like the way so many people meet up to socialize, eat and just “be” at the end of the day.

Left the airport on my layover. Could have stayed in the lounge. Two trains. A bus. Lots of walking and got lost once but I made it.

Amazing site. So impressive in person. Paris is NOT overrated.

The FINRA Investor Education Foundation gave a seven question money quiz to 25,500 adults. Average score was 3.3 out of 7.

Seven in ten could not say how fast a credit card balance doubles.

That is not a story about intelligence. That is a story about what school never taught and what most families never had to pass down.
