On this day, September 11, 2001 a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda forever changed the landscape of our nation. 2,977
(excluding the 19 hijackers) people died and over 6,000 were injured on that day. Additionally, many people have died as a result of what is commonly referred to as 9/11 cancer in subsequent years. Our hearts and minds will never forget.

Momchella Weekend was everything and more! ✨ JJHK’s annual Mothers’ Retreat brought the vibes and delivered an elevated experience from start to finish. Friday night was all about fun, fellowship, and good times, followed by a Saturday meeting filled with purpose and sisterhood. And because every great Momchella includes giving back, we were to share our support of the March of Dimes. 💜

With hugs and memories, Baltimore drew to an end

The day began in vibrant color as our region gathered for breakfast, celebrating the relationships that strengthen our organization from chapter to chapter. At the Power of Us Health Fair, we invested in wellness because caring for our communities starts with caring for ourselves. Then, dressed in elegant shades of blue, we gathered for an unforgettable Gala where one of Humble–Kingwood’s very own was honored with an Impact Award, a beautiful reminder that service leaves a legacy.

🩶 When Preparation Meets Purpose

Gray suits. Pink ties. One united mission. Humble-Kingwood proudly rallied behind our nationally endorsed candidate, and together we celebrated her successful election as National Treasurer. A victory powered by leadership, collaboration, and the strength of our collective voice. As the work concluded, the celebration began with unforgettable performances from SWV and Dru Hill, reminding us that after a day of making history, it’s only right to dance through it.
