SIX HOUSES. ONE FAMILY. THE RANCH! 🧡💜💛💚❤️💙

Friday was HOUSE SORT DAY for our newest Wranglers in Kinder–5th grade, and the excitement was BIG! 🎉

Watching our students sit with their new Houses at lunch, make connections, and build new friendships is exactly what our House System is all about.

And Kinder… Our largest group made picture time an adventure! Getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time was nearly impossible because they were WAY too excited showing their neighbors their new House! ❤️💙💚💛💜🧡

Our House System connects us across grade levels and reminds every Wrangler that they belong to something bigger. Every Friday, students wear their House color and enjoy lunch with their grade-level House family!
We may be six Houses, but we are ONE FAMILY at the Ranch! 💙💛

💙💛 There’s Something Special Happening at The Ranch! 💛💙

Our first weeks of school have been filled with LEARNING, LAUGHTER, FRIENDSHIPS, DISCOVERY, and FUN! From building new friendships and strengthening old ones to getting to know our teachers, classrooms, and Wrangler family, our students have been busy making memories while learning the ropes at The Ranch! ✨

We have loved watching our Wranglers learn together, laugh together, explore together, and grow together. The connections and sense of belonging already happening across our campus have us SO excited about the year ahead! 💙💛

And the excitement is just getting started because… 🥁🥁🥁

Wrangler Families, we know our Wranglers never want to miss a day of learning, but sometimes life happens! If your student is absent from school, please follow the steps below to submit a note and excuse the absence.

🎯 Our goal this year is 95.5% attendance!
We are challenging every Wrangler to MISS LESS THAN 5:
⭐ Fewer than 5 absences
⭐ Fewer than 5 tardies
⭐ Fewer than 5 early pick-ups

We're having an awesome first day at the Ranch! We're learning about and practicing our procedures to set all our Wranglers up for success. We also want to ensure our parents feel confident when they come to pick up their little Wranglers from the car rider line. The car riders line up through the parking lot between the school and the sport fields off of Valley Ranch Crossing Drive. See the traffic flow map to see how the line moves through the parking lot. Please make sure you've signed up for a car rider tag to help keep dismissal moving smoothly. If you need to sign up for a car rider tag, please fill out the form sent through Parent Square or find it on the campus website. It's going to be a great year of Progress with Purpose at VRE!
