🏐📚 Excellence on the Court AND in the Classroom!

Congratulations to the Friendswood High School Girls Volleyball Team on earning the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award!
Presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, this national recognition honors volleyball programs that demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence. To qualify, the entire team must maintain at least a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the academic year.

Our Lady Stangs continue to show that being a student-athlete means bringing dedication, discipline and hard work into everything they do. We are incredibly proud of these Mustangs and their coaches!

💙🐴 A Mustang welcome for the Class of 2030!

Friendswood High School freshmen kicked off their first day of school with a special Freshman Pep Rally! FHS Cheer helped bring the Mustang spirit as students came together to celebrate the start of their high school journey.

It was a great way to welcome our newest Mustangs to FHS and start the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉

We’re excited to see what the Class of 2030 accomplishes over the next four years!

🌅 Senior year starts here!

The Friendswood High School Class of 2027 gathered bright and early for Senior Sunrise, a special tradition celebrating the beginning of their final year at FHS. 💙

There was plenty of Mustang spirit, excitement and time with friends as our seniors marked one of the first milestones of their senior year.

💙🐴 Welcome to Mustang Land, Class of 2030!

Friendswood High School welcomed our newest Mustangs and their families for Freshman Parent Night and Fish Camp! These events gave freshmen the opportunity to get familiar with FHS, connect with their classmates and staff, and begin feeling at home on campus before the first day of school.

For our parents, Freshman Parent Night provided an opportunity to learn more about the high school experience and prepare for the exciting transition ahead.

We loved seeing the Class of 2030 on campus and can’t wait to officially welcome them back for the start of an incredible four years at FHS!
