A Girl Scout Research Institute survey found that more young black girls aspire to be leaders than girls from any other group — 53%, compared with 50% of Hispanics and 34% of whites. Yet, by the time they reached high school, just 11% of black girls were still nursing those dreams. Haven Girls is recommitting to its efforts to help our girls fulfill their dreams of leadership through education and empowerment programs. Will you support us? Follow us on Twitter .
