UnNesting: removing the hero cape to conserve and grow the deepest, dearest parts of you.

I create a specialized, sacred space for grace, permission to prioritize, release burdens, create mind shifts, change habits, and emerge your best version of self.

I threw out an invitation accidentally to the event of the year: a 1st grade spa party. Kid 2 climbed up her mountain and planted her flag this morning.

As I sit in this car pool line, I realize that all that happens in this life is to give us the opportunity to show up better and better.

This morning is done and they’ll get all my affection and love tonight.

Likely, someone will say or do something…but it is an opportunity to help them also do life’s work. Which is doing the work with support, practice, empathy, and love.

❓What have you had ENOUGH of experiencing during your motherhood journey?

Surrounding this thought:
✨New boundaries didn’t help as much as planned?….(Kids can tap dance over boundaries 😩🤣)
✨Do you keep score of situations which makes it hard to separate from triggers?

🙋🏾‍♀️What if our work starts from the beginning? Actually working on making life feel move livable. Enjoyable ❤️

I help to make inner peace obtainable, gentle parenting possible. Habits become sustainable through supported opportunities and practice that refines perspective while being accountable, vulnerable.

Moms, do you find it hard to manage the level of involvement within the family unit?

We can feel like:
😬 emotional regulators
🤕 the fixers
👷‍♀️ project managers

If we focus on what we can actually control, we can release stressors, shame, and exhaustion.

Exercise:
1. Draw three circles
2. List items under the 3 categories
3. Are they in the right place?
4. Decide to work on one area to improve on for this week

“Just take a breath.” 🙄 When the house is rocking and rolling, grounding CAN help. But how?

Send them to bed early and do what you want! 🤣

I’ve learned to regulate myself even in the midst of organized chaos. I literally use breathing techniques anywhere. The kids just started copying it and everyone knows to give each other a minute. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣❤️

Ways to ground:
-Breathe
-More sleep
-Listen to your fav music
-Don’t catastrophize (Is this happening the “end of the world?”
-Identify what you can control
-Speak kindly to yourself

I prioritize my energy towards the path of growth. Sometimes that leads to a moment or many moments 🙃 of uncertainty. If I am still, listen to my spirit, and do hard things, I always get to a resolve and peace.

✨ You are right where you are supposed to be and your story needs this chapter

Happiness is not a destination🚗. Meaning it is an emotion😊. It isn’t something that we have to chase down🏃‍♀️.
☺️ Happiness is a choice, choosing happiness is sometimes simple and other times a real work!

☺️ We can feel more of it when we feel:
💕 Satisifed
💕 Loved/connected
💕 Fulfilled

How to intentionally choose happiness:
☺️ Gratitude & count blessings
☺️ Smile (the brain responds and believes this signal)
😊 Purposely devote time & efforts to personal improvement
😊 Find ways to live out purpose and passions
☺️ Serenity, find peace…find what increases your “flow” and calm daily
☺️ Celebrate wins
😊 Trials ARE difficult, but remind self it won’t last always
😊 Become friends with hope. The optimism to push forward despite setbacks and believe things will improve
😊 Celebrate accomplishments
☺️ Show love (to self)

Remind yourself of the best parts of the day. 💛

Can anyone relate? Motherhood made me recognize and acknowledge my anxious behavior head on 😩💕. I was so used to being structured. The spontaneity and kids actions within motherhood would secretly drive me batty 🤪 and feeling tense😣.

🧘🏾‍♀️I did a lot work around mindfulness, triggers and responses, realistic expectations and showing up lighter. I’m thankful I had a community that saw me and we helped each other. I continued my work to include CBT and other therapies into my program.

💕Think of waking up looking forward to the day

💕Being able to handle the curveballs better

💕Getting to do more of the things that bring joy

Sending light and love your way on this amazing Friday!
