Camp STEMPACT is nearly here!

A FREE summer camp - designed especially for ages 14-18

Learn about exciting careers and educational opportunities in engineering!

Campers will experience a full day behind the scenes at Space Center Houston, hands-on team activities, lab experiments, critical thinking skills development, SAT math prep, and more. During this summer camp, students will get an inside look at future STEM opportunities while having fun and making new friends!

FREE to students ages 14-18. Eligible students must provide:

Texas school report card or progress report
Birth certificate or passport

STEM From Dance Girls Rise Up at San Jac
The STEM from Dance Girls Rise Up summer camp brings creativity, diversity, confidence, leadership, and innovation to middle school-aged girls through STEM and dance education. Through hands-on project-based learning, girls imagine a dance-technology performance and bring it to life using programmable LED costumes, animated backdrops, and more. The camp will culminate in a dance showcase featuring the choreography and technical creations created by the students.

Age Range
Grades 6-8 only (Must be entering, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the upcoming 2023-2024 school year)

June 26-July 20
Mandatory Camp Orientation- June 22

Times
Mondays-Thursdays, 9am-3pm; No camp on Fridays

Cost
Free. Space is limited.

The event is geared to educate students about the different programs under the Business and Technology Program, providing a Q&A opportunity as well. It will take place on April 24, 2023 in building S-1 on the South Campus, room 152 (S-7.152) between 11:00 am and 12:00 p.m.
